What We Believe

That the only true God, the almighty Creator of all things, exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

That Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, lived as an example of perfect humanity. On the Cross He assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in our place, but was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as Saviour and Lord.

That the in-dwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit, who teaches divine Truth and enables us to understand it, gives to all who believe in Christ a new life and a new calling to obedient service.

In the unique divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and supreme authority of the Bible, which truly reveals the Persons and purposes of God.

In the value and dignity of all people: created in God’s image to live in love and holiness and relationship with Him, but alienated from God and each other because of our sin and guilt, thereby justly subject to God’s wrath.

In justification by God’s grace to all who repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

The victorious reign and future personal return of Jesus Christ, who will judge all people with justice and mercy, giving over the unrepentant to eternal condemnation but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.

The unity of all believers in Jesus Christ, clearly shown in worshiping and witnessing churches that make disciples throughout the world, and in the Anglican way of Christianity as being totally compatible with all the above, a true expression of God’s one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church on earth.
